Our Story

At Steps of Excellence (S.O.E.), our story began simply—with prayer. What started as a weekly prayer phone line, grounded in the promise of John 10:10 that Christ came to give us abundant and victorious life, soon grew into something greater. We received written prayer requests through email,
offered encouragement and gradually expanded into biblical counseling and life coaching.

As the ministry has grown, God has continued to open doors to meaningful partnerships and opportunities.

A pivotal moment came when we connected with Mr. Andre’ D. Webb, whose tireless advocacy through the 13th and 14th Amendments has helped overturn unjust sentencing. This partnership deepened our mission and clarified the urgent call to stand with men and families impacted by injustice—walking alongside them in prayer, advocacy, and practical support.

Today, S.O.E. is honored to partner with H.E.A.T. Consulting and Associates (Holding Everyone Accountable Today), working together to bring hope, justice, and restoration to our communities.

At Steps of Excellence (S.O.E.), our mission is grounded in the promise of John 10:10 — that Jesus came so we may have life, and have it abundantly. Through prayer, faith, and action, we bring hope and compassion to men and families facing life’s toughest trials, reminding them that through Christ, overcoming is possible.

As a faith-based charitable ministry, we walk alongside those impacted by an unjust legal system, providing advocacy, life coaching, skills training, and vital resources. Our goal is to equip individuals with the tools, guidance, and strength to stand with dignity when fairness and justice are denied.

Andre D. Webb

Andre Webb’s life is a testament to resilience, legal expertise, and an unshakable commitment to justice. After successfully overturning multiple wrongful convictions through his own advocacy, Andre transformed his personal journey into a mission to fight systemic injustice and empower communities.

As the founder of H.E.A.T. Consulting and Associates (Holding Everyone Accountable Today), Andre leads initiatives that provide legal education, pretrial advocacy, and consulting services designed to disrupt cycles of incarceration, reduce recidivism, and restore lives.

Through programs like the Awareness Prevention Program, he tackles the root causes of injustice—including judicial bias, prosecutorial misconduct, and the disproportionate impact of the legal system on marginalized communities. By equipping detainees and families with knowledge, resources, and support, his work strengthens communities and builds pathways to fair, equitable outcomes.
